Supply Planning Manager

As Supply Planning Manager you will be responsible for optimizing short and mid-term supply planning processes, ensuring an optimal balance between service, cash, and cost. Your function:

  • Determine the right planning strategy and parameters for each product per specific location in order to optimize the balance service – cash – cost.
  • Effective management of warehouse stocks based on sales forecasts and defined parameters of stock turnover while taking into account the shelf life. Active use of MRP supply planning tools and cooperation with demand planning.
  • Proactive follow up of exception messages / reports to anticipate potential issues in the supply of internal and externally sourced products.
  • Develop and document processes to support and improve the effectiveness of the Supply Chain specialists.
  • Install KPI’s, exception reports,… to track the overall performance of the supply and replenishment planning process.
  • Close cooperation with internal planners and/or external suppliers with regards to stock availability. Install and drive mid term planning process with key external suppliers.
  • Coach for the supply team and guide them in developing pro-active planning mindset. Creates procedures, manuals and gives training to internal users.
  • Active collaboration with LLBG IT team on identification, design, testing, and implementation of flows/processes.
  • You act as an escalation level for impactful problems. Timely communication of expected non-delivery of goods within the company.
  • Executes the short and mid term planning of specific flows depending on the available resources.

In this role, you will report to the Supply & Demand Manager and join a dynamic team of Supply Chain Specialists and Demand Planners.

Your profile: 

As Supply Planning Manager you use your strong analytical and problem-solving mindset on a daily basis. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple internal and external functions is part of your DNA.

Furthermore:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply planning roles with focus to optimize the balance service - cost - cash.
  • Knowledge of different planning strategies (forecasting, MTO,…).
  • PC Proficiency: SAP (specifically MM, MRP parameters), Excel, Datawarehouse,…
  • You have a fluent knowledge of Dutch and English.
