We are looking for a commercially oriented Brand Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing specific product categories and ensuring that they align with the organization’s overall business goals. This role is crucial in driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and managing the performance of various product lines by combining competitive analysis, data crunching, creativity, and storytelling.

  • Competitive analysis
    • Deep understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to drive growth opportunities within assigned categories.
    • Regular market visits to follow up on competitive environment as well as market changes
    • Regular monitoring of sales and marketing initiatives, per channel and per customer and propose relevant actions to address opportunities
  • Data crunching:
    • Acquiring data from all relevant data sources and maintaining databases up to date
    • Translate data into actionable plans
    • Analyze the performance of allocated product categories and create periodical reports for key stakeholders highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations.
    • Manage the category allocated budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
  • Creativity & Storytelling
    • Leading and implementing channel-specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned retailers, in line with sales and marketing objectives
    • Work closely with sales teams to identify customer needs and develop leading programs that drive sales growth, while improving brand visibility
    • Improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution, and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities
    • Strategize positioning of a product category to maximize its visibility
    • Plan and execute promotional events, product launches, and other trade marketing activities, including materials, such as sales and product communication materials, catalogues, and ensure brand guidelines compliance
    • Develop relationships with key customers and influencers in the industry to create opportunities for joint marketing initiatives
  • Support role:
    • Assist sales team with listing information, product presentations, training materials
    • Engage with prospective clients and present the category initiatives
    • Collaborate with NPD to propose and develop new product initiatives
    • Strong participation in budgeting, operating business plans, and monthly business reviews.
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional team and selected suppliers on project implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • You thrive in matrix environments and are adept at influencing and coordinating with different stakeholders
  • Hands-on professional, proactive, entrepreneurial, results driven
  • Attention to detail with focus on the big picture
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills to oversee category initiatives from inception to execution
  • You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • Experience in Trade marketing and/or product management is a must
  • Availability to travel
  • BA in marketing, economics, or similar relevant fields
  • Strong Excel knowledge, Power BI knowledge is a plus
  • Financial understanding and expertise in category management would be an advantage
