Business Intelligence Analyst

In order to secure further our growth we are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst. You will be part of the controlling dept in our Kladno office and working in our international group team.

This is highly challenging and project-based function within an international and ever-expanding environment.


Your role

  • You will start off by learning about our organization and culture. Simultaneously, you’ll build up your knowledge regarding our crucial business flows and which information is captured in SAP or other source systems.
  • The upper management will pinpoint a handful of domains (Purchasing, HR, ...) as being the primary BI focus of this year and what the crucial KPI’s will be.
  • Based on that you’ll set up workshops with the various stakeholders in the organization and start developing data models and reports.
  • You will be working closely with external BI consultants who will set up & maintain Data Warehouses. Alongside our internal IT Business Analysts, you will create blueprints of the data models (e.g. relations between the various SAP tables, which dimension to in- or exclude, etc.) which will be realized by our external partners.
  • You will maintain keep a helicopter view of all our data models, in order to have a logical set of data warehouses, set up in a futureproof way.
  • You’re able to build reports which are intuitive, visually transparent for our end-users and will be their first point of contact in case of change requests.
  • You will be writing out the documentation of new data models

In this role you’ll be reporting directly to the Group Controlling IS Manager, based in Belgium.

Your profile

  • You have experience with BI-tools - Power BI knowledge is a plus
  • You are very familiar with data modelling and data visualization
  • Having professional experience in programming languages is a definite plus
  • You have an analytical mindset and can translate a business requirement to a model and/or report
  • You’re communicative and have a strong English proficiency
  • You are eager to help but also challenge colleagues, to disrupt the status quo
  • You’re well acquainted with Microsoft Office apps. Knowledge of SAP is an additional advantage.
  • You’re very keen to learn & display a can-do attitude.
