Full-Stack Data Scientist

As a Full-Stack Data Scientist within our Factory of the Future (FotF) Digital Program, you will play a key role in transforming our manufacturing processes through data-driven innovation and machine learning. Based in the Group Data & Analytics team, you’ll work together with our cross-functional FotF-team at the intersection of IT, OT, and our plant operation, collaborating with production teams across our business units to bring Industry 4.0 to life.

  • You translate strategic goals into smart, actionable solutions that boost plant performance using data analytics and machine learning.
  • You collaborate in a cross-functional FotF team (4–8 experts) with engineers, technologists, and operators to improve energy use, product quality, and line capacity.
  • You design and implement AI-driven advisory systems using tools like Grafana or PowerBI, or integrate directly with control systems.
  • You tackle complex challenges in the baking industry and develop innovative, data-based solutions for performance and sustainability.
  • You co-create breakthrough technologies with external partners such as equipment suppliers, startups, and universities.
  • You engage with plant managers, operators, analysts, and IT to align on needs, share insights, and drive process improvements.
  • You support international digital projects by coordinating deliverables, milestones, risks, and resources.
  • You Make a real impact on the shop floor by turning data into decisions that matter.
  • Degree in a relevant discipline such as: Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Machine Learning or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience applying advanced analytics in a manufacturing context
  • Passion for food production and Industry 4.0; understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies (vision systems, etc.)
  • Strong coding skills in Python and SQL; experience with cloud environments (preferably Azure); familiar with DataBricks
  • Strong foundation in software design principles and the ability to write clean and efficient code in Python and SQL with experience in cloud environments (preferably Azure)
  • Ability to advise on and apply state-of-the-art analytics, machine learning, and optimization techniques in a manufacturing context
  • Experienced in data engineering for manufacturing data and the preparation of datasets for predictive modelling including data cleaning, feature engineering, and data enrichment
  • Experience deploying ML models into production and working with MLOps practices
  • Skilled in visualizing insights for both operators (Grafana) and management (PowerBI)
  • Creative production-problem-solver with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset that gets motivation from achieving tangible business impact in factory performance
  • Effective communicator and collaborator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders from shop floor to senior leadership translating complex analysis into actionable insights
  • Willingness to travel (primarily within Europe) for short or longer-term assignments
  • Fluent in English and Czech
