International Product Cost Controller

In order to secure further our growth we are looking for a Junior Controller. You will be working in our international group team.

As a Product Cost Controller, you will have 2 main responsibilities:

  • the cost price calculation and price determination of our Bakery & Pastry products across 7 Belgian production sites
  • global cost price simulations for all LLBG factories based on future raw/pack material price evolutions

Your role

  • as new, innovative Bakery products are launched continuously at La Lorraine Bakery Group, it is crucial to be aware of their inherent product cost in order to maintain a strong profitability. You will be responsible for making that product cost calculation in SAP based on the recipe and production information supplied to you
  • you will be setting and maintaining the intercompany prices for all products
  • you’ll be in close contact with the Sales & Marketing departments, discussing the impact of recipe changes or the expected cost of recently developed products
  • based on information from our Purchasing Dept about the raw/pack prices in the coming months/quarters, you’ll be making product cost simulations and communicate your findings towards the Sales Mgrs across the globe

In this role you’ll be reporting directly to the Group Controlling IS Manager, based in Belgium.

Your profile

  • due to the international aspect of this function, a high level of written and spoken English
  • sporadic international travels are not a problem (3 days once every 2 months at most)
  • aside from a good knowledge of MS Office (primarily Excel), prior knowledge of SAP is a definite plus
  • you’re accurate, resilient to stress and can process and analyze large amounts of data
