International Trainee Food Technology

We are looking for an International Young Graduate who is interested in an apprenticeship of 2 years in the field of Food Technology.

Job contents

As our trainee, you will have 3 assignments:
 
Assignment #1: You will build a strong business foundation and learn about the food industry through on-the-job training, working on food-related business cases (e.g.: NPD, Production, Technology, Quality,…). This in an international context.
 
Assignment #2: You will execute a project in an international context to develop effective project management skills and cultural awareness and adaptability.
 
Assignment #3: You will fulfill a role in a bigger project or in a business support department in his or her home country or abroad, depending on the functional and geographical interest of the trainee and business demand.
 
Next to these assignments, you will be responsible for executing R&D trials in our brand-new Bread Competence Center.
 
After successful completion of the traineeship, you will have the opportunity to assume a role within La Lorraine Bakery Group that reflects the level of expertise and knowledge acquired during your traineeship.

Profile

  • Master degree in a food related domain (eg bio-engineering, food technology)
  • Maximum 2 years post-graduate professional experience
  • Strong interest in the food industry and a particular interest in bakery products - a first experience in this field (thesis, internship) is a strong plus
  • Open mindset and high learning agility
  • Embedded leadership capabilities
  • Hands-on personality and hard-working mentality
  • Good cognitive skills (analytical, problem-solving and decision making)
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written)
  • Willing to work in an international context (including frequent traveling in Europe)
