Technology & Innovation Academy Manager

We are currently looking for a Food Technology & Innovation Academy Manager who will, whitin a very dynamic, down-to-earth and international environment, perform a variety of duties. Excellent coaching, training and organization skills will be required for this function. You will support and inspire a variety of stakeholders within the Frozen Bakery Business Unit.

Technology & Innovation Academy Manager

Your responsibilities are:

  • Further implement and follow up the learning paths defined for each individual (in the first stage local technologists and group trainees in an international context).
    • To be able to make a gap analysis of competences and skills of the local technologist and group trainees.
    • Together with the product & process expert, develop content for the learning paths by co-creating e-learning, self-study, theoretical and practical learning materials.
    • Develop training materials for soft skill development.
    • Follow up rigorously the learning paths and validate the knowledge is acquired.
  • Coaching of the young graduates as group trainees to help them to become an expert or future manager.
    • Guide them through the organization during their first professional experience = set the basics right (attitude & organizational).
    • Together with the experts help them to manage projects.
    • Assess talents and help them to grow in the organization on the mid and long term.
  • Give basic trainings to newcomers (basic ingredients, recipe, process steps and/or soft skills), as well theoretical classroom as practical training in our competence centers.
  • Each year several seminars are organized. You are responsible for the organization of those seminars- content wise in cooperation with the expert but as well the practical & logistical site of it.

Your profile

  • A passion for the food industry, specifically baking, is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: coaching and/or training experience is a must.
  • Strong administrative skills, good ability to plan, organize and coordinate.
  • You have a no-nonsense, entrepreneurial mentality.
  • An excellent knowledge of English is required.
  • You are willing to travel (short trips 1-3 days)
