IT Business Applications Analyst Plant Operations

As Business Applications Analyst you make the bridge between business and IT. You do this by acquiring a good knowledge of the business processes and the functionalities of the different business applications within the domain of Plant Operations.

Your function:

  • You will be responsible to implement, manage and continuously improve the LLBGs best practice business applications for plant operations within the domains of technical service, production, quality, supply chain and product specifications. You will also watch over the integrations points with the logistic, automation, quality & finance processes.
  • You will work on group level; this implies that you will be involved in the support of all plants within LLBG and group-wide projects.
  • You take the lead on certain tracks within these projects in close collaboration with the other track leads and business stakeholders. You manage from A-Z all aspects within the projects to make it a success (project management, blueprint, validation with business, owner IT specifications, development, testing, documentation, training & support key-users)
  • You are in charge of the continuous improvement of the business processes and systems in your domain. You analyze the needs and demands of key users and you organize this information in an action plan with proposals for solution. You implement the solutions and changes within the IT application in line with our La Lorraine best practice model.
  • You manage the support of the business key users in collaboration with the central support business application analyst
  • You are in charge of the documentation of the processes and systems in the interactive IT knowledge platform.
  • You are able to keep the knowhow in the community secured and reinforced by giving trainings and updating the documentation.

You will work from the headquarters in one of the home countries of LLBG (Ninove, Erpe-Mere, Kladno, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, …) and you will report to the Business Applications Manager for Plant Operations. You are part of the international IT team.

Your profile:

  • You have a Master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
  • You have experience in an ERP system and you have knowledge on 1 of the plant operations modules (production, quality, planning, …). Knowledge on MES systems is a plus.
  • You have a sincere interest in all roles, activities & systems within plant operations.
  • You have an analytical mind, process-oriented and you are a conceptual thinker.
  • You are results- and goal-oriented and never lose sight of deadlines.
  • You are service-minded with a hands-on mentality and you like to communicate in English with various stakeholders.
  • You like to share knowledge and you are able to bring the message in a clear way to a broad audience.
  • You like to train and support people to strengthen their process- and system knowledge in a continuous way
  • You like to broaden your knowledge and horizon to other domains
  • Experience in change management is a plus
  • You’re willing to travel frequently to our other offices (15%).
