Quality Projects Manager

The Quality Project Manager will be a driver of our Product Leadership and quality culture at LLBG.
The Quality Project Manager works in close collaboration with the different Quality Managers and Specification Team, the Group Technology Team, the Group Technical Services Team and with IT, in order to drive and achieve a fully integrated Quality Improvement process.

Your role :

Tasks and responsibilities

To ensure successful project delivery

  • Challenge our current QA and QC processes and bring them closer to the floor in a pro-active way
  • Set up of systems to consolidate and report data in a much more digitalized and automated way
  • Challenge our current specification processes and improve our recipe integrity
  • Participate actively in the different projects and make sure they become implemented in a sustainable way, with local plant ownership
  • Report on the project progression and performance
To audit all data over lines and sites, with monthly reporting on KPI’s and non-conformances
  • Make up clear and locally supported action plans for quality improvement
  • Ensure that the data bring awareness to the plants
  • Follow-up of the action plans

Important quality projects

Redefine and optimize Q1 and Q2 quality control processes and reporting for finished products in the production plants within BU Frozen

  • Digital integration and automatisation of Q1 & Q2 parameters (weight, dimensions, incisions,…) in Objective (quality control on the floor)
  • Good and uniform reporting tools in Power BI, with out-of-control actions

Set-up of a digital Q2+ (quality as perceived by our consumers) evaluation system, in cooperation with the sales department within BU Frozen

Develop a full recipe and product integrity system (all BU’s)

  • with correct product information in our specification and labeling system and with version management
  • with integrated data on external platforms

The Quality Projects Manager will report to the Group QA Manager.

Your profile :

  • Quality Manager or master degree in food technology/nutrition, with several years of experience in Quality Management and Project Management
  • Strong Project Management skills : experience in leading, coordinating and executing projects, with proven knowledge of medium to large projects delivery
  • Good in change management
  • Likes to work with data
  • Strong in conceptual thinking
  • Social persion, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various teams, and gaining respect from local teams
  • Strong knowledge of modern information and communication technology is an asset
  • Willing to travel
  • Fluent in English
