At LLBG, technology plays a vital role in supporting our production sites and supply chain operations across multiple countries. As a Service Engineer Business Applications – Plant Operations, you ensure that our business-critical applications continue to perform at their best while helping our users get the most out of them.

In this international role, you combine application support, continuous improvement, and project participation. You work closely with key users, business stakeholders, and IT colleagues to solve issues, drive improvements, and contribute to the digital transformation of our production and supply chain environments.

  • You provide first-line support for key users and ensure a high-quality service experience across our Plant Operations and Supply Chain applications.
  • You investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, manage problems, and identify opportunities to improve application performance and user satisfaction.
  • You maintain process documentation, share knowledge with users, and organize training sessions to strengthen system and process expertise within the business.
  • You manage user authorizations and support application maintenance activities, including participation in maintenance weekends when required.
  • You contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with business key users and IT Business Analysts to optimize processes and applications.
  • You coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), maintain test documentation, and ensure successful validation of system changes.
  • You build strong relationships with business stakeholders, proactively identify improvement opportunities, and help translate business needs into effective solutions.
  • You support implementation and rollout projects, facilitate knowledge transfer activities, and participate in the on-call service after your onboarding period.
  • After a six-month onboarding period, you will be included in the on-call duty service (24x7). This will be for a maximum of one week per month.

As a Service Engineer Business Applications you will report to the Business Applications Team Service Lead and you will be part of the international IT team.

  • You hold a Master's degree or have equivalent experience, preferably within IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • You have experience working with ERP systems. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a strong asset.
  • You have an affinity with Plant Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related business processes.
  • You are analytical, customer-oriented, and proactive, with a strong focus on service, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch & English, enjoy sharing knowledge, and are comfortable training and supporting users in an international environment.
  • Experience in change management is a plus.
