At LLBG, Finance plays a key role in supporting sustainable growth and operational excellence across our international organization. As a Service Engineer Business Applications – Finance & Controlling, you help ensure that our finance processes and systems continuously deliver value to the business.

In this role, you combine SAP Finance expertise with stakeholder management, service delivery, and continuous improvement. You act as a trusted partner to Finance teams across the group, helping to shape and optimize our SAP Finance landscape while ensuring stability, standardization, and business alignment.

  • You take ownership of the global SAP Finance template, ensuring standardization, governance, and alignment across all LLBG entities.
  • You act as a trusted partner for Finance stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable and sustainable SAP solutions.
  • You manage the Finance application support backlog, handling incidents, service requests, and change requests while ensuring agreed service levels are achieved.
  • You perform root cause analysis, resolve complex issues, and implement long-term improvements that enhance system stability and user satisfaction.
  • You drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and opportunities to optimize Finance processes and applications.
  • You collaborate with Finance, IT teams, external partners, and business stakeholders to deliver successful enhancements and projects across the organization.
  • You maintain system and process documentation and actively contribute to knowledge sharing across the Finance community.
  • You train and coach Business Process Specialists and key users while supporting the on-call service after your onboarding period.
  • After a six-month onboarding period, you will be included in the on-call duty service (24x7). This will be for a maximum of one week per month.

As a Service Engineer Business Applications you will report to the Business Applications Team Service Lead and you will be part of the international IT team.

  • You hold a Master's degree or have equivalent experience and bring at least five years of experience within the SAP Finance domain.
  • You have strong hands-on expertise in SAP FI/CO and a solid understanding of end-to-end Finance processes and their integration with other business domains.
  • You have experience in service management, template management, and international rollout projects within complex organizations.
  • You are a strong stakeholder manager who can confidently engage with both operational teams and senior leadership.
  • You combine an analytical mindset with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach and communicate fluently in Dutch & English. Experience working in an international environment is a strong asset.
