As an International Reliability Manager, you will drive company-wide asset reliability strategies and downtime reduction processes to minimize downtime and optimize maintenance costs across multiple sites.

  
The role focuses on improving the long-term reliability, maintainability and total cost of ownership of assets by ensuring that all the learnings from the day to day business are integrated into LLBG maintenance strategies and into LLBG Engineering Standards.

  
The role operates at Group level. You will support the maintenance organizations centrally and locally. Execution of daily maintenance and line performance remains the responsibility of the sites.

Asset Maintenance Strategy & Technical Standards

Develop and maintain group standards for maintenance strategies across production assets, including:

  • preventive / predictive maintenance
  • maintenance task optimization
  • equipment criticality assessment
  • spare parts strategies
  • technical documentation and knowledge capture
  • reliability datas & KPIs

Ensure that best practices are developed following reliability principles and maintenance strategies are continuously improved based on operational feedback. Ensure consistency and alignment across production sites.

   

Reliability Improvement & Knowledge Sharing

Support sites in solving complex or recurring technical issues with significant operational or group impact (Safety Food Safety, operational excellence,...).

Responsibilities include :

  • supporting root cause analysis for critical failures
  • coordinating cross-site learning from technical incidents
  • identifying and improving systemic equipment issues affecting multiple sites
  • facilitating knowledge sharing between sites

Capture and document technical learnings in structured equipment knowledge repositories for technical and engineering departments (“machine passports”).

   

Early Equipment Management & Engineering Input

Ensure operational experience is incorporated into the design and procurement of new production equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • promoting lifecycle thinking (Total Cost of Ownership)
  • providing reliability input during project development
  • validating maintainability and reliability aspects of equipment design
  • reviewing spare parts strategies for new production lines
  • provide technical expertise on hygienic design and technical impact of cleaning on equipment reliability
  • contributing to LLBG Engineering Standards

    

Site Reliability Support & Group Governance

Support the development of reliability engineering capabilities across the group by:

  • coaching and supporting site Reliability Engineers
  • contributing to training programs (tools, methods, processes)
  • participating in recruitment and evaluation of reliability roles
  • providing input to reliability-related job descriptions
  • You have a technical educational background (e.g. industrial engineer)
  • You have 10 years+ relevant experience of industrial maintenance (reliability, maintenance, technical service, etc.) within a complex, industrial manufacturing context.
  • You have broad knowledge of reliability engineering tools and techniques (5 Why, RCA, FMECA, RCM, etc.).
  • Your experience in the food industry and/or experience in a multi-site environment is a plus.
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You combine a well-developed analytical and conceptual approach which you can translate well on the shop floor.
  • You are very pragmatic, no-nonsense and entrepreneurial personality – with a very high execution power
  • You are solution-oriented but can also think on a tactical and strategic level;
  • You have well-developed leadership skills and are familiar with indirect leadership and managing teams remotely;
  • You are fluent in English
  • You are prepared to spend up to 50% of your time travelling to the international manufacturing sites in Europe mainly and in US.
