Our two-year trainee program is designed for early-career professionals with a technical background in food technology and strong growth potential. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop critical skills, and prepare for a future role as a Production Technologist within our organization.

Throughout the program, you will work on project-based assignments that drive business impact and foster your professional growth:

  • Product Expertise: Explore our key product groups: Bakery, Sweet On-The-Go, Viennoiserie, and Savory
  • Technical Skills: Gain in-depth knowledge of LLBG products, industrial lines, Technologist tools, and NPD processes
  • Project Management: Lead and support projects, manage stakeholders, and collaborate across international teams & sites
  • Professional Development: Enhance skills in communication, training, and international collaboration
  • Degree in Food Technology or related field
  • Ideally, 2-3 years experience in the food industry
  • Strong understanding of English
  • Passion for food and innovation
  • Eagerness to learn and grow
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and independence
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
  • Accelerated Learning: A steep learning curve through formal training, shadowing, and on-the-job experience. Technological skills on various LLBG products (bread, Viennoiserie, SOTG) & industrial lines.
  • Expert Guidance: Continuous coaching from the Food Technology & Innovation Manager and the experienced R&D technologists, as your assignment leads
  • Balanced Assignments: Exposure to multiple projects and teams to broaden your expertise
  • Travel & Benefits: All travel expenses covered, plus a full LLBG employment contract

After successful completion, you’ll transition to a permanent role as a Local Technologist in your home country.
