As a Quality Specification Specialist, you play a key role in ensuring that our products comply with international food regulations and quality standards. You act as the link between regulatory requirements and practical implementation across the business.

  • Stay up to date with food and packaging regulations across different regions (e.g. US, Canada, Asia), in close collaboration with the Regulatory Compliance team
  • Translate regulatory requirements into accurate product specifications and labels, ensuring compliance with legal standards, industry requirements and customer expectations
  • Contribute to the development of harmonized procedures and guidelines to improve efficiency and standardization
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, NPD, Marketing, Supply Chain and Sales
  • Manage daily operational tasks, including:
    • Maintaining label layouts for frozen products
    • Managing product and recipe data in SAP
    • Creating and updating product specifications
    • Maintaining customer-specific portals
    • Assessing the impact of raw material or recipe changes on labels and specifications
    • Providing product-related information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and specification-related projects
  • Report to the Specification Manager
  • Scientific background, preferably in Nutrition, Dietetics or a related field
  • Initial experience in a similar role within the food industry is a strong asset
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
  • Excellent digital skills; affinity with structured data, formulas and logic (experience with SAP and WWI is a plus)
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Eager to learn and grow
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
