The International (Warehouse &) Logistics Lead is responsible for shaping and executing the company’s global logistics and warehousing strategy for BU Frozen. This role ensures operations and supply chain excellence across (high-bay automated) warehouses transport networks in multiple countries in line with the business objectives while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, efficiency, cost control, and sustainability. As a key member of the BU Frozen Operations & Supply chain Team, you will focus on the conceptual design, shape standards, drive innovation, and future-proof logistics infrastructure to support international growth. You will lead the global warehouse and logistics community, manage complex projects, and ensure seamless integration between production sites, warehouses, and transport partners.

This role operates across three key dimensions:

  1. Managing supply chain excellence Today: Monitor and support day-to-day performance of warehousing and transport operations, ensuring compliance with KPIs, safety standards, and crisis management protocols.
  2. Managing Tomorrow’s Business through Continuous Improvement: Driving performance improvements by setting and refining standards, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in logistics and warehousing.
  3. Future-proofing the Business Embed logistics and warehousing standards into new investments, automation projects, and organizational design to secure long-term scalability and resilience.
  • Strategy Development & Execution: Define and deploy a global logistics and warehousing strategy aligned with overall business objectives, ensuring safety, efficiency, cost control, and sustainability.
  • Concept Design & Investments Develop concept designs for warehouses, and enforce technical specifications flows, layouts, automation, and transport networks. Translate growth and production needs into logistics functional specifications. Work with Engineering to validate concepts, shape Capex plans, and secure operational readiness for new or upgraded sites. And ensure regional adaptability while maintaining global consistency through close collaboration with local teams.
  • KPI Framework & Performance Management: Build and monitor a robust KPI framework for warehouse activities, logistics operations, shipping performance, and transportation metrics. Maintain regionally tailored scorecards and drive benchmarking to identify best practices and performance gaps.
  • Continuous Improvement, digitalization & Innovation: Implement a global Warehouse and Transportation Improvement Action Plan, conduct site assessments, mentor managers, and share actionable insights to elevate operational standards. Champion automation, digital tools, and data-driven decision-making to enhance visibility, traceability, and predictiveness across warehouse and logistics network.
  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee pricing strategies for internal and external warehousing and transportation services. Analyze cost drivers, ensure competitive pricing, and manage P&L accountability for business unit frozen warehouses and transport networks.
  • Contract & Partner Management: Design tariff structures, guide negotiations with third-party logistics providers and carriers, and standardize contract templates and EDI protocols for seamless supply chain integration.
  • Organizational Design: Create templates for warehouse and transportation structures that reflect regional scale, activity, and sustainability targets. Translate growth objectives into actionable Capex and Opex investment plans, balancing cost control and high-quality service delivery.
  • Project Portfolio Management: Manage a global portfolio of logistics and transportation projects, define deliverables, assemble cross-functional teams, and ensure timely execution. Provide regular updates to the Operations Vice President on project milestones, risk management, financial outcomes, and the impact of transportation initiatives on overall supply chain performance.
  • Reports to: Vice President of Operations (or equivalent senior operations/Supply Chain leader)
  • Key Stakeholders: Operations Leadership Team, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, IT, Regional Management, Third-Party Logistics Providers, Carriers

This role is ideal for a strategic, results-driven leader with a passion for logistics, warehousing, and supply chain excellence in a fast-growing, global environment.

  • Education: Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain leadership roles within a global, multi-site organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in warehouse concept design, managing large-scale logistics and warehousing operations, financial stewardship, and project portfolio management.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of global logistics and warehousing standards, KPI frameworks, cost analysis, contract management, and EDI protocols. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional and regional teams, drive change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel internationally (30%–40% of the time) as needed to support global operations.
