As Competence Center Lead Data & Analytics, you shape and lead our end-to-end Data & Analytics capability. You are responsible for the strategy, governance, platforms, and people that transform data into business value. Together with your team and business stakeholders, you ensure that data becomes a trusted foundation for innovation, operational excellence, and AI-driven decision-making across the organization.

  • You define and execute LLBG’s Data & Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and digital transformation priorities.
  • You lead and develop four key domains within the competence center: Information Governance, Data Management, Business Intelligence, and AI Engineering & Data Science.
  • You build, coach, and grow a high-performing team, creating an environment where people can thrive, develop, and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
  • You manage and prioritize a portfolio of data, analytics, and AI initiatives, ensuring resources are focused on the opportunities with the highest business value.
  • You drive data ownership, governance, quality, and master data management together with business stakeholders and data owners across the organization.
  • You oversee the Data & Analytics platform landscape, including Azure, Databricks, and Power BI, while ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence.
  • You collaborate closely with business leaders, IT competence centers, and executive stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable, value-driven solutions.
  • You foster a data-driven culture by promoting data literacy, driving adoption, and enabling colleagues across multiple countries to make better decisions through data and AI.

You report to the Chief Digital Transformation Officer and are part of the Data, Analytics & IT leadership team, alongside the leads of the other competence centers. You work across seven countries and travel regularly to our sites.

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Equivalent experience is equally valued.
  • You bring at least 10 years of experience in Data & Analytics, including several years in a leadership role where you successfully built and developed teams.
  • You have experience defining and executing Data & Analytics strategies and translating them into tangible business results, roadmaps, and operating models.
  • You combine strong leadership skills with solid technical expertise in modern data platforms, data modeling, business intelligence, cloud technologies, and AI solutions. Experience with Azure, Databricks, Power BI, and SAP is a strong asset.
  • You are a strong communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels, drive organizational change, and communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
